End-User License Agreement (EULA)

for DB CommanderX™ for SQLite

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User" or "Licensee") and RUBRIKPULSA SOFTWARE, CO. ("Developer", "we", "us", or "Licensor"), a company based in Subang, West Java, Indonesia, for the use of the DB CommanderX™ for SQLite application ("Application").

By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree with these terms, do not download, install, or use the Application.

1. Relationship Between Licensor and Licensee

The Licensor (RUBRIKPULSA SOFTWARE, CO.) is the creator and owner of the Application, granting the Licensee (you, the User) a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Application as described below. The Licensor retains all intellectual property rights and ownership of the Application, while the Licensee is granted only the right to use the Application under the terms of this EULA. This agreement does not transfer ownership or proprietary rights to the Licensee, nor does it establish any affiliation between the Licensor and any third party, including SQLite or SQLCipher.

2. License Grant

Subject to the terms of this EULA, the Licensor grants the Licensee a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Application for personal or professional use on a compatible device owned or controlled by the Licensee. This license includes access to both free and premium features of the Application, depending on the Licensee's subscription or purchase.

4. Third-Party Status

DB CommanderX™ for SQLite is a third-party application developed by RUBRIKPULSA SOFTWARE, CO. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any other entity, including SQLite, SQLCipher, Zetetic LLC, Google, or any other third party. The Application integrates the SQLCipher Community Edition library under its BSD license for encryption functionality, but no affiliation exists with Zetetic LLC or other entities.

5. Freemium Model and Premium Features

The Application is offered as a freemium tool, with certain features available for free and others (e.g., encryption with SQLCipher) accessible through in-app purchases (IAP), subscriptions, or ad-supported temporary access ("Premium Features"). Access to Premium Features requires payment of applicable fees, as described in the Application or on the Licensor’s website. The Licensor reserves the right to modify the availability of features or pricing at any time, with reasonable notice to the Licensee.

6. Ownership and Intellectual Property

The Application, including all software, code, designs, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by the Licensor or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Application is registered with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of Indonesia as a computer program for database management tools. The Licensee acknowledges that no title to the intellectual property in the Application is transferred, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved by the Licensor.

7. Data and Privacy

The Application may process data stored in the Licensee’s SQLite databases, including through features such as the SQL Query Editor, Schema & Table Editor, and Data Import & Export. The Licensee is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws, including obtaining any necessary consents for processing personal data. The Licensor collects technical data related to usage and performance in an aggregated and anonymized form, as detailed in the Privacy Policy. For further details, refer to the Privacy Policy.

8. Automatic Rollback and Database Integrity

The Application includes features designed to maintain database integrity, such as automatic rollback support in case of errors or integrity issues. However, the Licensor is not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or other issues arising from the Licensee’s use of the Application. The Licensee is strongly encouraged to back up databases regularly using the Application’s export functionality or other means.

9. Updates and Support

The Licensor may provide updates, bug fixes, or enhancements to the Application at its discretion. These updates may include new features, improvements, or changes to existing functionality. Support may be contacted at support@rubrikpulsa.com. The Licensor is not obligated to provide support unless specified in connection with Premium Features or a separate agreement.

10. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. The Licensee may terminate this EULA by uninstalling the Application and ceasing its use. The Licensor may terminate this EULA if the Licensee breaches any of its terms. Upon termination, the Licensee must cease all use of the Application and delete all copies from their device.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE LICENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LICENSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR’S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE LICENSEE FOR THE APPLICATION, IF ANY.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This EULA is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The Application is registered with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of Indonesia. Any disputes arising under this EULA shall be resolved in the courts of Indonesia. This choice of law does not limit the Licensee’s consumer protection rights under the laws of their jurisdiction.

14. Third-Party Components

The Application integrates the SQLCipher Community Edition library, licensed under the BSD License by Zetetic, LLC, for database encryption. Copyright © 2008–2024 Zetetic, LLC. Full license details are available at SQLCipher Community Edition License and within the Application under "Settings > About." The Licensee agrees to comply with the terms of any third-party licenses applicable to the Application.

15. Amendments

The Licensor may update this EULA from time to time. The Licensee will be notified of significant changes through the Application or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Application after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated EULA.
